Purple rain
The color gods whisper that purple is the the main color for decorating Autumn 2010. Here some beautiful throw pillows from Au Maison! Why thoughts of Autumn? Well, the rain is pouring today and the sun has hidden somewhere behind the clouds.

Summer 2010 – photos, part 1
Wish you a beautiful weekend! I’m starting my day off with a cup of coffee and a new post…
The scent of old books
Awakened by a project the other day. The scent of dusty old books always gives me a fast lane ride into history, it’s like magic. Suddenly I’m surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of years, voices, meetings, letters, numbers, whispers, colors and poetry… A small project brought this on, I assure you that I’m neither drunk [...]
Summer colors
Summer still rules although the weather in Gothenburg isn’t what I would like it to be at the moment. Some nice findings in “summery” colors:
Vintage pink glasses fromSoVintage – if you want to look like ever so beautiful Sophia Loren.
Icon clock from & Design – I don’t like clocks that much, but I would hang of [...]
Tequila lamp
They say this plant blooms once in 25 years. Stray dog Designs (a favourite of mine!) is bringing this gorgeous table lamp to you. It’s hand made of papier mache from recycled materials by artisans in Haiti. You can chose from 2 shade colors and 16 base colors. Combine the way you prefer! I’m buzzed…
DIY project 2
I’ve gotten hooked on DIY projects! Project no 2 is somewhere in this picture. Stay curious and stay with me – will reveal the “mystery” soon. And this time I’ll keep my promise on “soon”
It’s a beautiful Friday morning right now and I wish your day will be filled with magic!

DIY project 1 – step 2 + final result
I was reminded to show the steps and final result of my DIY project 1 by a visitor (Thank you, Renate!). Sorry for being forgetful! So here it is – my complete project:
I started out by finding a mandala pattern (unfortunately I have forgotten where I found it – sorry, but let me know if [...]
Poetic horizon
Sometimes I read words like I’ve never met or read them before – at that moment, they transform themselves into poetry. Read and done.
Rough translation: “Beneath a winter moon. Unreal flowers.”
Leather beauties
Could easily have all three in my home! All from Danish Au Maison.
